SUMMARY:

Plan and provide music therapy to students with mental, physical, or emotional disabilities. Provide therapeutic intervention to maximize physical or mental functioning, increase independent functioning, and/or adjust to disabilities.

Music therapy utilizes musical or rhythmic interventions specifically selected by a registered music therapist to accomplish the restoration, maintenance, or improvement of social or emotional functioning, mental processing, or physical health.
